Daily December Album

I've been working on my Daily December album inspired by Ali Edwards. The album is filled with what we did each day, and/or how we felt, what we thought for each day during the month of December. It is a mismash of paper, embellishments, etc. Below are some photos...

Snow in Baton Rouge, LA!

I can't believe it is snowing in Baton Rouge, LA. This is the first time since I have lived here (almost 5 years) that it has snowed at my house. It's beautiful! And what a way to put you into the Christmas spirit.

Wait! What? I have to drive in this? I don't remember how to drive in snow! Wish me luck!

Christmas Tags

My Christmas tages are photos of my husband and me when we were little. I printed the photos on Bazzill cardstock and then cut them out using deco scissors and placed them on Cosmo Cricket pattern paper. I punched a hole in each one and threaded some baker's string through. I stamped on the back of each one "To:" Now I just need to wrap presents and put them on them.

St. Nick Visted and the Bounty

Yesterday, St. Nickolas visted our house and even left a present for Sugar Ray.

We also went down to the Mississippi to see the Bounty, which starred in the movies Mutiny on the Bounty and Pirates of the Carribean II - Dead Man's Chest. It is a beautiful ship.

In addition, we also went to see Ellis Marsalis perform. His group was fabulous and we had a wonderful evening filled with jazz.

Fall Follies

At work we have an annual fall follies and we always participate. This year we "sang" and danced to top hits from the past ten years. So I was in Livin' la Vida Loca and Gold Digger. We all had lots of fun.

(Kip took the photos for me, he tried but it was so dark in there.)

Decorating the Tree

I love Christmas, so I was very anxious to decorate the tree. We put the tree up before thanksgiving....

(I know it doesn't look straight, I made Kip fix it after we were done)
